CorfuGen

Center for Culture – Sustainability – Innovation

The CorfuGen Project / Corfu Re-Generation – Center for Culture, Sustainability & Innovation on the island of Corfu (Central and Southern Corfu) is an integrated initiative that brings together culture, the environment, green and digital innovation, education, and active citizen participation. Building on the legacy of CulturePolis (culturepolis.org), the Center will engage local communities, visitors, and entrepreneurs in initiatives that promote cultural heritage, environmental responsibility, and creative entrepreneurship.

Naming Rationale

CorfuGen – Corfu Re-Generation,
inspired by associations such as:

Corfu + Gen-eration = The new generation of Corfu

Corfu + Gen-esis = The regeneration of Corfu

Corfu + Gen-e = The DNA of sustainability in Corfu

Corfu + Gen-erate = Generating innovation in Corfu
